Adobe has unveiled the updated Firefly 2 AI image generator, Firefly Vector vector graphics model, and the Design template generator for the Express service.

Here's What We Know

Firefly Image 2 is an updated version of the text-to-image conversion system. Like its predecessor, it works exclusively with licensed content, which ensures the safety of using the results of AI work for commercial purposes. In addition, the system supports text prompts in any of 100 languages.

Firefly's web application will also get three new features:

• Generative Match to maintain consistent design aesthetics for images and assets.
• Photo Settings to generate photorealistic images
• Prompt Guidance to optimise text queries

Firefly Vector model for generating vector images. It will allow artists to stay within the boundaries of corporate identity, quickly create new designs based on existing illustrations, as well as seamless fills and vector gradients.

Model Design is aimed at advertising and marketing professionals. It allows users to create templates for print and online copy using Adobe Express.

Users will be able to generate images in Firefly and then transfer them to Express for use in a layout. Templates can be edited manually if necessary.

The tools are available in Adobe applications like Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator. They're also included in the Creative Cloud subscription.
