Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 will let you run AI models on your device and improve camera performance with algorithms

During the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 announcement, Qualcomm put a special emphasis on the artificial intelligence capabilities of the new chipset. Almost every aspect of the chip was developed specifically to optimise the performance of neural networks and machine learning algorithms.

Here's What We Know

According to Qualcomm, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 should significantly speed up the execution of applications with generative AI. For example, creating an image in Stable Diffusion takes just one second.

The chipset also supports Qualcomm Sensing Hub technology, which allows the smartphone to better perceive voice commands and surroundings.

Other AI algorithms in Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 will improve camera performance. This will allow the devices to improve autofocus, colour reproduction as well as night mode shooting.

The first List of smartphone manufacturers that will use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor in their devices will be announced this month.
