ChatGPT Voice has been made available to all chatbot users

OpenAI has opened up access to the ChatGPT Voice input feature to users of the free version of its chatbot.

Here's What We Know

ChatGPT Voice allows you to ask questions and get answers using your voice. To activate the feature in the mobile app, you need to tap on the headphone icon next to the text input field.

ChatGPT with voice is now available to all free users. Download the app on your phone and tap the headphones icon to start a conversation.

Once launched, ChatGPT Voice will continuously listen to the user while waiting for questions. Once the session is over, the bot will save a text version of the dialogue to a separate chat room.

Previously, the voice input feature was only available to subscribers of the paid version of ChatGPT Plus.
