Chatbot Bard has learnt to watch and retell YouTube videos

Google has released an update for the chatbot Bard, thanks to which it will be able to analyse the content of some videos on YouTube.

Here's What We Know

Bard can now answer questions about the number of ingredients in recipes, tool names in instructional videos, or restaurant locations from reviews.

Previously, after the September update, Bard was only able to pull data from YouTube, but couldn't understand the content of videos. Now Google has taken the first step to improve that ability, noting that the technology will evolve.

To ask Bard questions about YouTube, you'll need to connect the appropriate extension in its web interface.
