Microsoft has announced that it is expanding access to Copilot artificial intelligence-based features for Office 365 apps to all businesses.

Here's What We Know

Previously, Copilot for Microsoft 365 was only available to large enterprise customers with a minimum threshold of 300 users. Now, access to the AI-powered assistant is open to businesses of any size with no limit on the number of users.

In addition, Copilot is available to subscribers of Office 365 E3 and E5 plans, as well as Microsoft 365 Business Standard and Business Premium plans for $30 per month per user.

The service is integrated into Office applications and teams and can perform tasks such as generating text, creating presentations and summarising emails. It will streamline document management and increase employee productivity.

Copilot is also available in Teams, where it can help with creating meeting summaries or tardy users quickly make sense of missed discussions.

In addition to the enterprise version, Microsoft has two other offerings with Copilot - a free basic version as a chatbot and Copilot Pro with advanced functionality for individual users at $20 per month.
