Insider: Google has delayed the release of the stable version of Android 14, the operating system will be released alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
Google has been testing the Android 14 operating system for several months now and was supposed to release a stable version of the software in early September. It looks like the firmware release has been postponed.

This was reported by insider and dataminer @MishaalRahman on Twitter. According to his information, the release of the stable version of Android 14 will now take place at the presentation of Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones in early October. Why Google decided to postpone the software announcement is unknown.
Hearing now that the source code release of Android 14 has been delayed to next month.

This decision seems to have been made very late, as even OEMs were anticipating that the release would be today.
