vivo Y75s - Dimensity 700, up to 12GB of RAM and old Android 11 OS for $270

vivo has expanded its Y75 series of smartphones. The vivo Y75s joined the Y75 5G and Y75 4G models introduced earlier this year.

Here's What We Know

Quite unexpectedly, the smartphone got 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. There is also a version with 8GB of RAM. The vivo Y75s hardware centerpiece is a 7nm Dimensity 700 mobile processor with 5G cellular support.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.58" LCD matrix-based FHD+ display. There is an 8 MP front camera in the teardrop-shaped notch. The main camera uses 64 MP, 8 MP and 2 MP modules. There is support for 4K UHD, but only with a frame rate of 30 FPS.

The battery capacity is 5000 mA*h, and the fast charging power is 18W. In addition, the vivo Y75s got a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Mini-Jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB-C. There is no NFC chip. The smartphone runs on Android 11 with Origin OS Ocean shell.

Price

The vivo Y75s in the 8/256GB modification cost $270. The variant with 12 GB of RAM the company estimated at $315. There is no information about sales in the global market yet.
