DJI Osmo Action 3 - 12MP camera with 4K at 120 FPS starting at $330
DJI has announced a new generation of action camera Osmo series. The novelty is called DJI Osmo Action 3 and resembles GoPro Hero11 Black, which was introduced a few hours ago.
Here's What We Know
DJI Osmo Action 3 has a 1/1.7" optical sensor with 12 MP resolution. The camera has a lens with a viewing angle of 155 degrees and an aperture of f/2.8. The gadget can record 4K ULTRA HD video at frame rates of up to 120 FPS and supports RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonSteady stabilization technologies.
According to the manufacturer, the battery provides 160 minutes of uninterrupted video shooting. But when selecting 4K UHD resolution at 120 FPS, overheating is possible. The capacity of the battery is 1770 mA*h. It fully charges in 50 minutes.
DJI Osmo Action 3 has a pair of displays with touch control. Also, the novelty has three microphones, a protective frame with support for vertical and horizontal mounting. The camera supports underwater immersion to a depth of 16 m.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The DJI Osmo Action 3 will cost $330 / €360 / £310. A kit with two extra batteries, a 1.5 m monopod and a battery case will cost $440 / €460 / £400. Sales of the new camera has already started.
