Intel announced Core K generation Raptor Lake processors - up to 24 cores starting at $295
U.S. processor giant Intel introduced the Core K series of 13th generation processors (Raptor Lake). The line is represented by six chips. The rest of the processors will appear early next year.
Here's What We Know
According to the company, the performance compared to the 12th generation has increased by 15% and 41% in single-threaded and multithreaded modes, respectively. This was achieved by increasing the frequency, the number of cores and threads.
Intel offers chips with 6/8 "big" (P) and 8/16 "small" (E) cores. The maximum frequency is already 5.8 GHz. And in 2023 there may be a limited edition Core i9-13900KS lineup with overclocking up to 6.0 GHz. All processors support DDR4-3200 and DDR5-5600 memory. You can find specifications and prices in the table below.
As for the prices, they practically have not changed in comparison with the 12th generation. However, we do not exclude the possibility that new processors may become more expensive before the sales launch (October 20), because recently Intel has been threatening its customers with autumn price increase.
