Xiaomi introduced 86" TV Redmi TV X86 with 4K display and HDMI 2.0 support for $690
Xiaomi has presented a huge TV under the Redmi brand. The novelty is named Redmi TV X86, which reflects its diagonal.
Here's What We Know
Redmi TV X86 is not the brand's biggest model. The Redmi range includes the Redmi Max 98 TV, which has a screen diagonal of 98". Our hero got 86" panel of 4K UHD format without increased refresh rate of the image.
The sound subsystem is represented by two 10W speakers with DTS support. The hardware platform is built around a 4-core chip, complemented by 2 GB of RAM. For the installation of applications there is a 16 GB drive.
The Redmi TV X86 has two HDMI 2.0 connectors, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and a Wi-Fi adapter. The manufacturer claims that you can control the TV with voice commands thanks to the support of the XiaoAI virtual assistant.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Redmi TV X86 will be available to buy in China starting October 31 for $690. For comparison, the aforementioned Redmi Max 98 cost almost $2800 at the start of sales.
