Tecno Phantom X2 - Dimensity 9000, 90Hz display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and 64MP camera for $720

Together with Phantom X2 Pro, Tecno introduced another new product. It is called Phantom X2 and does not have a retractable portrait telephoto lens.

The model also got a Dimensity 9000 chip, a fingerprint scanner built into the display, a 32 MP front-facing camera and a 5160 mAh battery. The fast charging power was the same 45W.

The key difference concerns the camera. It has changed by a third, retaining only a 13MP module with ultra-wide-angle optics. Instead of a telephoto lens, a 2 MP sensor is used, and the resolution of the standard camera is increased from 50 MP to 64 MP.

Another difference concerns the display. It, too, is based on the AMOLED FHD+ panel and is covered by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus. However, in the Phantom X2 diagonal was reduced from 6.8" to 6.6", and the refresh rate - from 120 Hz to 90 Hz.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Tecno Phantom X2 is scheduled to launch in early 2023. The smartphone will appear in a 12/256GB modification for $720 in Stardust Gray and Moonlight Silver colors.
