PocketBook Viva - Europe's first e-book with a revolutionary color display E Ink Gallery 3
PocketBook introduced the first e-book on the European market, equipped with a color screen E Ink Gallery. The novelty is called PocketBook Viva.
Here's What We Know
The reader is equipped with a touch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 1920 pixels. It is able to reproduce a color image with a density of 300 ppi, and the number of displayed shades exceeds 50,000. Diagonal size is 8".
PocketBook Viva has a function SMARTlight, which allows you to adjust the color temperature and brightness of the display. For eye protection E Ink ComfortGaze technology is used which decreases blue color ratio by 60% in comparison with the previous generation solution.
Novelty is perfect for reading audiobooks. PocketBook Viva is equipped with speaker, supports six audio file formats (M4A, M4B, OGG, OGG.ZIP, MP3, MP3.ZIP) and has Text-to-Speech feature. Connection to headphones and wireless speakers is done via Bluetooth 5.2 protocol.
PocketBook Viva has an IP68 water protection enclosure. The reader can be submerged under water (fresh water) to a depth of up to 2 meters and keep it that way for 60 minutes. But we don't recommend to do it.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The recommended price of the PocketBook Viva in Europe was €599 (). The reader will go on sale at the end of the first quarter of 2023. The e-book is only available in a modification with 64 GB of internal memory.
