Lenovo unveiled IdeaPad Pro 5 laptops on AMD Ryzen 7000 processors at prices starting from €1099
Lenovo has introduced not only updated ThinkPad X1 on the eve of CES 2023. The manufacturer from China also announced new IdeaPad Pro 5 laptops based on AMD Ryzen 7000 mobile chips.
Here's What We Know
Lenovo unveiled IdeaPad Pro 5 14 and IdeaPad Pro 5 16 models with 14" and 15" displays, respectively. The first laptop got Ryzen 5 7640HS, Ryzen 7735HS and Ryzen 7 7840HS chips, and the second one also got Ryzen 5 7535HS in addition to the previous three. Notably, AMD has yet to announce these APUs.
IdeaPad Pro 5 14 is equipped with a screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz or a panel with a resolution of 2240 x 1440 dots without a higher refresh rate. Both use an IPS matrix.
IdeaPad Pro 5 16 also got an IPS screen, but its resolution is increased to 2560 x 1600 pixels. There is only one modification with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 350 nits. This model is equipped with a discrete graphics NVDIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 or RTX 4050.
Both come with 16/32GB of RAM and a 512GB or 1TB PCIe SSD. The list of interfaces includes one USB 4.0, USB-C (USB 3.2) and HDMI 2.1 each, two USB-A (USB 3.1), Wi-Fi 6/6E, Bluetooth 5.1, Mini-Jack and two 2W stereo speakers. The battery capacity is 75Wh.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Lenovo will start selling the IdeaPad Pro 5 14 and IdeaPad Pro 5 16 late next spring. The laptops will start at €1099.
