Dell introduced a professional UltraSharp 32 6K monitor, which will compete with Apple ProDisplay XDR

American manufacturer Dell decided to compete with Apple and introduced a professional monitor. It is called Dell UltraSharp 32.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is equipped with a 32" display with a resolution of 6144 x 3456 pixels. At the heart of the matrix is LG, made using IPS Black technology. The manufacturer claims more accurate color reproduction (20%), deep blacks and better contrast than conventional IPS panels. Maximum brightness is only 600 nits versus 1,600 nits for the Apple ProDisplay XDR.

The Dell UltraSharp 32 will be sold with a stand. It gives the ability to change the height and rotate the display, including vertically. There is also a webcam, two speakers with 28 W total power, two microphones, three USB-C, five USB-A, one HDMI 2.1. A Thunderbolt 4 connector with 140-watt support lets you recharge laptops. A 15-watt Thunderbolt 4 is provided for charging accessories.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The UltraSharp 32's success will be influenced by price. Dell is in no hurry to reveal the price yet. Sales of the new monitor will start in the first half of 2023. Apple ProDisplay XDR costs from $5000, and you have to pay another $1000 for the stand.
