ASUS announced curved 5K-monitor with a frame rate of 165 Hz and a diagonal of 49"
ASUS has a new gaming monitor in its assortment. The model joined the ROG family and is called ROG Strix XG49WCR.
Here's What We Know
The monitor is equipped with a panel of 5K format with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz and an aspect ratio of 32 to 9. Externally, the novelty resembles two monitors with proportions of 16 to 9, between which there is no frame. The diagonal is 49".
ASUS ROG Strix XG49WCR supports AMD FreeSync Premium and has sRGB color gamut at 125%. There is also a VESA DisplayHDR 400 certificate, i.e. the maximum brightness of the panel is 400 nits.
The support for Smart KVM is a key feature. This technology allows you to connect two computers simultaneously to one monitor. If you connect a keyboard and mouse to the monitor, you can switch bet ween PCs by moving the cabinet. The interface set includes HDMI 2.0, USB-C, Ethernet and DP 1.4.
