JBL introduced TWS earphones Tune Buds, Tube Beam, Tune Flex, Endurance Peak 3, Vibe Buds, Vibe Beam and Vibe Flex for under $100
At CES 2023, JBL also had time to make an announcement. It unveiled seven pairs of completely wireless earbuds.
Let's go in the order the earphones are mentioned in the headline to the news. The JBL Tune Buds get 10mm drivers, four microphones, Smart Ambient and ANC. The earphones connect via Bluetooth 5.3, have IP54 protection and can last 12/36 hours without recharging. Or 10/30 hours with ANC.
The JBL Tune Beam has everything the same, and also works 12/36 or 10/30 hours without recharging. The difference besides the design of the modules is the presence of 6mm drivers instead of 10mm radiators. There is also no mention of splash protection.
JBL Tune Flex received 12-mm drivers. Synchronization is done via Bluetooth 5.2 protocol. Splash protection complies with IPX4. Working time without recharging is 6/8 hours with and without ANC, and with the case - 18/24 hours, respectively.
The fourth new product is the JBL Endurance Peak 3. A special feature is the attachment on each earpiece. It is also impossible not to note the protection against water and dust according to the standard IP68. At full charge earphones work 10 hours, and with a case - another +40 hours, that is more than two days in total.
Now let's see to the cheaper earphones.
JBL Vibe Buds got 8mm drivers, IPX54 class splash protection and can work for 8 hours without recharging (24 hours with the case). There's also Smart Ambient support.
JBL Vibe Beam differs from the previous model only in appearance. All other specifications are the same as in the Vibe Buds.
The latest innovation from JBL is called Vibe Flex. The earphones are equipped with 8-mm radiators, and the housing protection against splashing meets the IPX54 standard. The battery life is 8 hours without recharging and 24 hours with the case.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The JBL Vibe Buds and Vibe Beam will cost $50. The Vibe Flex model - $70. Sales will begin in February. Along with them, the JBL Endurance Peak 3 will hit the market for $100. The JBL Tune Buds, Tune Beam and Tune Flex will also go on sale for $100, but starting in June.
