Samsung announced an updated series of Smart Monitor M8 with the Tizen operating system
South Korean technology giant Samsung at the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2023 introduced two new monitors in the series Smart Monitor M8. The presence of its own operating system Tizen allows you to use them without connecting to a PC.
Here's What We Know
The company is offering customers two models that are different sizes and will differ in price. The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 series is now represented by 27" and 32" monitors. Both use a panel of 4K UHD format. The same resolution at different sizes means that the smaller model has a higher pixel density.
Owners of the Samsung Smart Monitor M8 will be able to control devices from the SamrtThings ecosystem. Smart Hub support will allow you to watch YouTube, Netflix or Amazon Prime Video without having to connect a computer.
The monitors come with a stand that gives you the ability to adjust the height and angle. You can also use the stand to rotate the screen vertically. If desired, the monitors can be mounted on the wall.
Samsung did not specify either the price or the launch date of Smart Monitor M8.
