Nothing decided to sell the smartphone in the U.S. this way because the device comes with a beta version of Android 13, as well as some hardware that is not supported in the region. By the way, for now, Nothing Phone (1) will work on the networks of the operator T-Mobile. Later, Verizon support will appear, but it will be "very limited".
