WhatsApp announced an app for Mac with native support for Apple Silicon

The developers of WhatsApp in the summer of 2022 began to develop an application for Mac with native support for Apple Silicon. And only now the program has been announced to users.

The application is still available in beta version. It can already be downloaded by everyone on the official WhatsApp website or through a link. The program is compatible with devices based on processors M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max, M1 Ultra, M2, M2 Pro and M2 Max.

By the way, the current version of WhatsApp is optimized for Intel processors and works on Macs with M-series chips through the Rosetta 2 translator.
