Honor Magic 5 Ultimate: 6.81-inch LTPO OLED display at 120Hz, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 16GB RAM and 5,450mAh battery for $966
Honor unveiled the Honor Magic 5 and Honor Magic 5 Pro smartphones at MWC 2023 last week, and has now revealed the new products in China along with the third Honor Magic 5 Ultimate model.
Here’s What We Know
The Honor Magic 5 Ultimate is the company's new top-of-the-line smartphone. The gadget got an unusual leather back panel and two colours: black and orange. The novelty is equipped with a 6.81-inch display with a resolution of 2848×1312 pixels, LTPO OLED matrix, 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and IMAX Enhanced certification.
The smartphone is powered by a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of ROM. The novelty also boasts of a 5,450mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, the battery is made of silicon-carbon anodomite. It has a 12.8% higher energy density compared to lithium batteries. The battery supports 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
As for the cameras, they are the same as the Pro model: 50 MP + 50 MP main + 50 MP front and 12 MP + 3D sensor front with Face Unlock support. The novelty has NFC and IP68 water protection. The smartphone comes with Magic UI 7.1. It is based on Android 13 OS.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of Honor Magic 5 Ultimate will start in China on March 10. The novelty will cost $ 966. In the global market, the smartphone is unlikely to appear.
