Xiaomi unveils TV Box S 4K (2nd Gen) on global market with Google TV on board and new remote control

Xiaomi recently updated the TV Box S 4K set-top box in China and has now announced the device globally.

Here's What We Know

The set-top box is almost identical in specs to the first-generation model that came out in 2018. The device gets a quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB ROM, the ability to play 4K videos, 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2 and Dolby Atmos support. Of the ports, the gadget has HDMI 2.1 and USB 2.0.

Unlike the previous model, the new one comes with Google TV interface (instead of Android TV). The set-top box is also equipped with a new remote control.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not yet announced the price and launch date of the TV Box S 4K (2nd Gen), but the novelty has already appeared on the company's official website.
