ASUS unveils ROG STRIX XG49WCR gaming monitor with a 49in WHQD display and 165Hz support

ASUS has unveiled a new gaming monitor under the ROG brand.

Here's What We Know

The new product has been named ROG STRIX XG49WCR. The device has a 49-inch curved display with 5120×1440p resolution, 32:9 aspect ratio, 1800R curvature and a colour gamut with 125% sRGB coverage. The panel supports 165Hz refresh rate and boasts NVIDIA and AMD adaptive synchronisation technologies.

The monitor has DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, USB Type-C, USB-A and an Ethernet connector. The novelty can charge laptops and other devices via USB-C with up to 65W.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The ASUS ROG STRIX XG49WCR will go on sale in the second quarter of the year. Presumably, the monitor will cost 1199 euros.
