Acer Swift Edge - Ryzen 7040 chips, 3.2K display at 120Hz and Ryzen AI support from $1300
Along with Predator Triton 16, Acer has introduced a lightweight notebook without discrete graphics and with AMD chips instead of Intel. The Taiwanese manufacturer's second new product is called the Acer Swift Edge.
Here's What We Know
The notebook is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7040 series processor based on the Zen 4 architecture. The graphic engine is presented by an integrated AMD Radeon 780M chip. The model comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 2TB of storage capacity in the top-end modification.
The Acer Swift Edge gets an 8-to-5 OLED display with a resolution of 3200 x 200 pixels. The panel supports 120Hz refresh rate, brightness up to 400 nits and has True Black HDR 500 certification. The diagonal is 16".
The notebook is equipped with a 1440p webcam. Some modifications include support for Ryzen AI. The technology, in particular, allows you to blur the background and also provides support for autocamming and gaze correction.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Acer Swift Edge will cost a minimum of $1300 in the US, and in Europe the laptop will cost from €1199. Sales are expected to start in July 2023.
