Apple unveils new MacBook Air with 15.3" Liquid Retina display and M2 processor starting from $1299
Apple unveiled a new version of the MacBook Air at WWDC 2023. It got a 15.3" display and was slightly more expensive, but much more powerful than the Intel-powered version.

The novelty has a thickness of 11.5mm. According to the manufacturer, the new MacBook Air is the world's thinnest laptop equipped with a 15" display. It weighs in at 1.5kg. The Liquid Retina panel displays 1 billion colours and is up to 500 nits bright. The notch features a FaceTime camera that can record video up to Full HD resolution.
The MacBook Air's hardware platform is built around the Apple M2 with eight processor cores and a 10-core GPU. According to the manufacturer, the new laptop is 12 times faster than the model equipped with the Intel chip.
It has a maximum of 24GB of RAM and 2TB of storage capacity. Apple claims that the laptop can run for 18 hours without recharging. The model also has Touch ID, Thunderbolt, MagSafe and six stereo speakers.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The MacBook Air has been priced at a minimum of $1299. The laptop is already available for pre-order and sales will start next week. The model will appear in four body colours: Midnight, Starlight, Silver and Space Gray.
