Summer is coming to an end, which means that many new products that were announced in January at CES 2023 in the US are going on sale. One of them is Samsung's Freestyle second-generation portable projector.

Here's What We Know

One of the main innovations in Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 compared to the original 2022 model is access to the Gaming Hub, as well as to NVIDIA and Xbox cloud services. The company has also added a new SolarCell Remote.

At CES 2023, Samsung said that the next-generation model can be paired with the same projector. For this purpose, an edge smoothing function appeared. As a result, the user should get an image diagonal 150". However, seven months after the announcement, the company removed mention of this technology.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The cost of Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 was $800. The novelty turned out to be $100 cheaper than the first generation model. The portable project is already available for pre-order in the US, and deliveries will begin before 1 September 2023.
