KTC G48P5S - 4K gaming monitor with OLED display, 138Hz frame rate, HDMI 2.1 and 30W speakers priced at $945

Chinese brand KTC has announced a new gaming monitor. The model has the catalogue number G48P5S.

Here's What We Know

KTC G48P5S is equipped with a panel on organic light-emitting diodes. The OLED matrix has a diagonal of 47.5" and an unusual refresh rate of 138 Hz. The resolution is 3860 x 2160 pixels, which corresponds to the 4K ULTRA HD format.

According to the manufacturer, the monitor's display shows 98% of the DCI-P3 colour range. The response time is 0.1 ms (GtG) and the brightness is 450 nits.

To connect gaming consoles and computers, the KTC G48P5S is equipped with an HDMI 2.1 connector. The USB-C port supports up to 90W of power transfer, which will be enough to power a laptop when connected. The monitor also gets a pair of 15W stereo speakers.

Price & When We Can Expect It

KTC G48P5S is already available for purchase, but so far only in China. The cost of the gaming monitor was $945.
