Samsung has started selling the giant Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NC) Dual UHD curved monitor with 240Hz frame rate at a price of $2730

The giant Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NC) monitor unveiled at CES 2023 is now on sale. But for now it is only available in China.

Here's What We Know

Along with the release came more information about the monitor, as the company did not reveal all the details at CES 2023. The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NC) features a TCL CSOT display with a 1000R radius of curvature, 57" diagonal and 240Hz frame rate.

The monitor has an aspect ratio of 32 to 9. The resolution is 7680 x 2160 pixels, which corresponds to the Dual UHD format. Response time is 1 ms. The matrix received Quantum Mini lED backlight with 2393 dimming zones. Also note the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certificate and dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NC) is equipped with Harman Kardon stereo speakers, and there is RGB backlighting at the back. For connectivity, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C and DisplayPort 2.1 connectors are used. The latter has a bandwidth of 80Gbps.

Price & When We Can Expect It

As we wrote above, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 (G95NC) is available for purchase in China. There, the cost of the curved gaming monitor was about $2730. In the near future, the novelty will appear in other countries.
