TCL X955 - QD-Mini LED 4K TV with 5000 nits brightness, 160W speaker and artificial intelligence

TCL has announced the X955 series of TVs. The new line includes two models that differ in size.

Here's What We Know

The TVs are equipped with a Quantum Dot Mini LED panel with 98 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and 5184 dimming zones. According to the manufacturer, the brightness in HDR mode reaches 5000 nits. Artificial intelligence is used to optimise colour reproduction, contrast and sharpness.

The new products have a diagonal of 85" and 95". In both cases, QD-Mini LED panels of 4K ULTRA HD format with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels are used. The refresh rate of the image is 144 Hz. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support should also be noted.

The TVs are equipped with a speaker system format 4.2.2. According to the manufacturer TCL X955 received support for Dolby Atmos technology. The power of the speaker system reaches 160 watts.

The cost and date of the beginning of sales of TCL X955 are not specified.
