Samsung has announced 4K ULTRA HD OLED TVs with 144Hz frame rate in Europe

Samsung announced OLED TVs at IFA 2023 in Berlin. The S89C and S91C models will soon be on sale in Germany.

Here's What We Know

The TVs are equipped with 4K ULTRA HD panels with a frame refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The response time is 0.1 ms. According to the manufacturer, the new products have support for HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10+ GAMING, HLG and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

The sound subsystem is represented by 40W speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony 2.0, Active Voice, Adaptive Sound Plus and Object Tracking Sound Lite. The Quantum Neural Processor chip is responsible for image processing.

The TVs get Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi Direct, Wireless DeX, DLNA, AirPlay 2, Miracast, MultiView, SmartView, Bluetooth 5.2, Tap View and Tap Sound. There are three USB-A and four HDMI 2.1 connectors for connecting additional devices.

The cost of the new TVs has not yet been specified. The Samsung S89C and S91C will go on sale in two sizes: 77" и 83".
