The mid-range Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon RX 7800 XT graphics cards go on sale with prices starting at $449
As planned, AMD's new mid-range graphics cards have gone on sale. We are talking about Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon RX 7800 XT models, which were announced about a fortnight ago.
Here's What We Know
Both graphics cards are equipped with Navi 32 graphics processor. It has 60 compute blocks, 3840 stream processors, 60 RT blocks, 256-bit memory bus and 64 MB of Infinity Cache.
This is the GPU variant that is installed in the Radeon RX 7800 XT. The Radeon RX 7700 XT model received a stripped-down version of the chip. It has 52 computing blocks with 3456 stream processors and 54 RT blocks.
The difference between the two novelties is not only in the GPU configuration, but also in memory. Radeon RX 7800 XT is equipped with 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM with a bandwidth of 624 GB/s. In the Radeon RX 7700 XT, the VRAM is reduced by 4GB and the bandwidth is lowered to 432GB/s.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Both graphics cards are available for purchase starting yesterday. The Radeon RX 7800 XT is priced at $499 / €549. The Radeon RX 7700 XT is priced at $449 / €489.
