Qualcomm has announced a new 7-series processor.
Here's What We Know
The novelty has been named Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. The chip is built on a 7-nanometre process and boasts four Cortex A78 cores at 2.4 GHz, as well as four Cortex A55 with a maximum frequency of 1.95 GHz. Qualcomm has put Adreno 710 graphics in the new SoC.

The chip supports LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, FHD+ screens with resolutions up to 144Hz, as well as cameras up to 200 MP and Quick Charge 4+ fast charging technology. The SoC comes with WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and Snapdragon X62 5G modem.
When We Can Expect It
The first Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 based smartphone will arrive next week. It will be the Redmi Note 13 Pro.
