Samsung Portable SSD T9: up to 4TB storage capacity, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface and read speeds of up to 2000MB/sec

Apart from the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, Galaxy Buds FE headphones and Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablets, Samsung has also unveiled a new SSD drive.

Here's What We Know

The new product has been named Samsung Portable SSD T9. The gadget received a protected housing according to the international standard IEC 62368-1, as well as USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface with write/read speeds up to 2000 MB / s (twice as fast as the model T7). This allows the drive to transfer 4GB Full HD videos in just two seconds.

The drive also boasts Dynamic Thermal Guard, which prevents performance degradation due to overheating and ensures stable data transfer speeds. The device comes in 1TB, 2TB or 4TB capacities.

Samsung Portable SSD T9 is already available for purchase in some countries. The novelty costs from $139.
