Intel has released the Arc A580 graphics card starting at $179 for FHD gaming 397 days after its unveiling
In early September 2022, Intel introduced the Arc A580 graphics card. 397 days it finally went on sale.
Here's What We Know
Intel Arc A580 is an entry-level gaming graphics card. According to the American company, it is designed for games with medium to high graphics settings in Full HD. For this purpose, the graphics card received a GPU with 3072 shaders, 24 RT cores and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with up to 512 GB/s bandwidth.
The reference clock speed of the GPU was 1.7GHz, but in all versions already available for purchase, the chip is clocked at 2GHz. Heat dissipation requirements were 185W, which is 110W more than the Arc A380 and 40W less than the Arc 7 models.
The ASRock Arc A580 Challenger 8GB OC, GUNNIR Arc A580 Index 8G, Photon 8G OC and SPARKLE Arc A580 ORC OC Edition models are already on sale. The cost was a minimum of $179. Intel has no plans to release a reference version of the graphics card.
