Omate Ice Ring: a smart ring with health monitoring features and 6 days of battery life for €199

Omate has unveiled the Ice Ring smart ring, which performs all the functions of a smartwatch and fitness tracker.

Here's What We Know

The ring is made of titanium alloy and has a stylish minimalistic design. It is 2.5mm thick and weighs just 2.9g. The device is fully protected against water ingress, as evidenced by the IP68 rating.

Ice Ring is able to measure heart rate, blood oxygen level, determine stress level by offering breathing exercises to calm down, and also monitors sleep by tracking its 4 stages: wakefulness, deep sleep, light sleep and REM sleep. Detailed analyses of sleep duration and quality and useful recommendations can be found in the proprietary app.

In addition, Omate Ice Ring supports various sports modes and tracks activity, including Google Maps and GPS on the smartphone.

Other specs include a Goodix GR5515GGBD chip, 1MB of memory, Bluetooth 5.1, and a 20mAh battery, with one charge enough for 4-6 days of normal use. The battery fully charges in just 30 minutes.

The Omate Ice Ring costs €199 and is available in six sizes and three colours - gold, silver and black.
