Hisense has started selling Mural TV R8 interior TVs priced from $1400

At the beginning of October, Hisense unveiled the Mural TV R8 interior TVs. After almost two months they became available for purchase, but so far only in China.

Hisense created the Mural TV R8 range in an attempt to impose competition to Samsung's The Frame interior TVs. The Chinese company has launched two models in 65" and 75" diagonal sizes priced at $1400 and $1825 respectively.

The Mural TV R8 has 10 stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The power of the speaker system is 72 watts. ULED X technology allows for 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space.

A key feature of the Mural TV R8 is its special design, which means that the gap between the cabinet and the wall is only 3 mm. When the TV is not in use, the panel can display images.
