Leica has unveiled the ZM 1 Gold Limited Edition watch with an 18-carat gold case and alligator strap for $28,000
The famous German camera manufacturer Leica has unveiled the ZM 1 Gold Limited Edition. It's a watch, not a camera, but it was an homage to the 1929 IA Luxus camera.
Here's What We've Seen
The watch is a special version of the original ZM 1. Therefore, the main characteristics have not changed: the case is 41 mm in diameter with its own movement from Lehmann Präzision. An interesting element was the power reserve indicator, which opens from the centre, mimicking the petals of a camera shutter.
The ZM 1 Gold Limited Edition differs from the regular model in terms of design and materials. The case is made of 18-carat rose gold, the pushers are made of titanium and the strap is made of brown alligator leather.
The ZM 1 Gold Limited Edition is a limited edition - only 50 watches will be produced. The price is $28,000.
