TCL introduced a dome-shaped 4K OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and an 8K 2D/3D display

TCL took part in the DTC 2023 exhibition, where it announced new panels that will appear in the future as part of commercial devices. The company showed several screens, but there is one novelty that is worth noting first.

Here's What We Know

One of the most unusual panels is a concave domed OLED screen that will bring a 3D perspective to home gaming. It has a 4K ULTRA HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The diagonal of the display is 31".

TCL also brought to DTC 2023 an IJP OLED display with 8K UHD resolution of 65" diagonal with 120Hz frame rate and an identical format panel with 2D/3D support for monitors. The latter has a 27" diagonal and features eye-tracking.

Another novelty is an ultra-wide miniLED panel. Its diagonal is 57", refresh rate - 240 Hz, and the radius of curvature - 1000R. The screen has also received more than 11,000 backlight zones and Dual Ultra HD resolution.

Also noteworthy is the debut of the world's first 14" IJP OLED screen for notebooks. The 2.8K format panel has a pixel density of 240 ppi and an image refresh rate of 30 to 120 Hz.
