Lenovo has unveiled the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 laptop with Meteor Lake chips priced from $2989
Lenovo usually unveils the ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptops at CES in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, the 12th-generation model debuted a month before the show.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 is another laptop with Intel's Meteor Lake generation processors. The day before, Acer, ASUS and Samsung presented their novelties. In the top modification it is equipped with 64 GB of RAM type DDR5 and SSD drive with a capacity of 2 TB.
The model received a 2.8K OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz (in the top configuration) and a diagonal of 14" with very thin frames. The panel has a brightness of 400 nits and is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified. The top indent contains an 8 MP (4K) resolution camera.
The power subsystem in Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 is represented by a battery with a capacity of 57 W*h. In the arsenal of the laptop there are two USB-C with support for Thunderbolt 4, two USB-A, HDMI 2.1, Mini-Jack, Wi-Fi 6E/7 and Bluetooth 5.3 The model runs on the Windows 11 operating system.
The key feature of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 is the hardware platform. It is built around Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 mobile processors with a neural accelerator for processing artificial intelligence algorithms.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 12 will go on sale by the end of this month with prices starting at $2989. Models with vPro processors will hit the market next year.
