CES 2024: Withings reveals BeamO - the world's first multiscope, or the thermometer of the future

French manufacturer Withings announced an interesting new device at CES 2024.

We are talking about the thermometer of the future BeamO. According to the company, the novelty is able not only to measure body temperature, but also to monitor the state of the heart and lungs. On the side edges of BeamO are electrodes that allow it to determine the level of oxygen in the blood and heart rate, as well as measure ECG. A temperature scanner detects the user's body temperature from the temporal artery, and with a piezoelectric disc, the device can pick up acoustic sound waves from the chest or back that can be transmitted to a doctor.

Withings claims BeamO can perform a body check-up in less than a minute, alerting the user to fever, infection and possible cardiovascular problems. Such as those such as atrial fibrillation, for example.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Withings plans to launch BeamO on the market in the summer of 2024. The novelty will cost $250.
