vivo Y28 5G: 90Hz LCD display, MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chip, IP54 protection and 5000 mAh battery for $169

The company vivo announced a new budget smartphone Y-series.

The model is called vivo Y28 5G. The gadget received LCD-display with a diagonal of 6.56 inches, HD+ resolution and refresh rate of 90 Hz. There is a drop-shaped cutout at the top of the screen with an 8 MP front camera. The main one has two 50 MP +2 MP sensors.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor paired with 4/6/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The vivo Y28 5G is powered by a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone features IP54 water resistance, side scanner, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G modem and dual-SIM slot. The novelty comes with Android 13 operating system and FunTouch OS 13 shell.

The vivo Y28 5G has already gone on sale, but only in India for now. The gadget is priced from $169.
