OtterBox unveiled a new line of iPhone cases at CES 2024, and they're made of cactus

OtterBox, which is famous for its protected iPhone cases, showed a new line of cases at CES 2024.

Here's What We Know

The cases have been named Symmetry Series Cactus Leather Cases. The main feature of the series is that it is all made of cactus leather. The cases have a soft texture, reinforced corners for shock absorption and enlarged camera edges.

According to OtterBox, cactus leather is made from the nopal cactus, better known as prickly pear. Cactus leather requires less land, water and resources to produce than traditional leather. When the mature prickly pears are harvested, the rest of the cactus remains alive and can still bear fruit in the future.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The first cactus leather iPhone case will be available this spring and will cost $60.
