Razer already has headsets with HyperSense technology, which provides haptic effects during gaming. But at CES 2024, it showed off a new product with improved Sensa HD Haptics technology.
Details
Project Esther is a gaming chair pad that vibrates based on what's happening on the screen. It consists of 16 parts with ultra-low latency haptic transmitters that help you fully immerse yourself in the game and feel bumps, shots, movements, etc. The software can convert sound into haptic signals on the fly.
The pad is compatible with most gaming and office chairs.
But for now, it's just a concept, not a finished product. Razer hasn't announced pricing, availability, or even what other devices the Sensa HD Haptics technology might appear in.
