Samsung has revealed a Galaxy Buds headphone case with OLED display

At CES 2024, Samsung showed a lot of displays: brighter TV and monitor screens, thinner laptop screens, dual folding screens for phones, curved and roll-up screens for cars. The company even showed a screen built into a wireless headphone case.

Details

Samsung unveiled a prototype case for Galaxy Buds with a small OLED display at the show. It's fully functional: it shows the battery level of the headphones themselves and the case, displays audio modes and ANC (active noise cancellation) status.

Thus, settings can be controlled directly from the charging case without opening the app on the paired smartphone. Users will also be able to switch to other devices directly from the display on the case.

However, this is only a prototype for now, but let's hope that Samsung will implement this idea into finished products.
