Apple unveils App Store for Vision Pro with streaming services and sports apps

Ahead of the Vision Pro's launch on 2 February, Apple has announced an app shop for the device.

Here's What We Know

Developers can now release apps for the helmet and post them to the App Store for Vision Pro. The visionOS app shop will feature both apps designed specifically to utilise the helmet's capabilities and iOS apps that can run on the device in 2D mode. By the way, developers of existing programmes will be able to transfer their products to the App Store for Vision Pro without any problems.

At the start of sales for Vision Pro will already be available various streaming services and applications for sports. For example, Apple TV+, Disney+, ESPN, NBA, MLB, PGA Tour, Max, Discovery+, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, Peacock, Pluto TV, Tubi, Fubo, Crunchyroll, Red Bull TV, IMAX and TikTok. Apart from this, the helmet will get Safari and other third-party browsers.
