Xiaomi has unveiled Redmi Book Pro 2024 laptops with 14-inch and 16-inch screens and Intel Core Ultra processors. Prices are from $700

The updated Redmi Book Pro 14 and Redmi Book Pro 16 laptops debuted at today's launch event in China alongside the flagship Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4.

Here's What We Know

These are two versions with different screen diagonal. The Redmi Book Pro 14 features a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels, brightness up to 400 nits and refresh rate up to 120Hz. The all-metal body is 15.9mm thick and the total weight of the device is 1.46kg.

There's a choice of a base version with an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 16 or 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 512GB or 1TB PCIe 4.0 drive, as well as a configuration with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD.

Inside the 14-inch model, there are two dual heat pipe fans and an 80Wh battery with 100W charging.

The Redmi Book Pro 16 gets a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 3072×1920 pixels, brightness up to 500 nits and 165Hz. The processor choice is the same - Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7, but this time the only memory configuration is 32GB of RAM and 1TB of inbuilt storage. The cooling system is the same.

This laptop has an increased battery capacity of 99Wh and charging power of 140W. It weighs 1.88kg with a chassis thickness of 15.9mm.

Both models also get a pair of speakers each with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, integrated Intel Arc graphics, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and a set of ports: Thunderbolt 4, one USB-C, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, an HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi Book Pro 14 is priced from $700, while the 16-inch model is priced from $835.
