OnePlus Watch 2: a smartwatch with two chips, two operating systems and up to 12 days of battery life
OnePlus, as promised, has revealed a new smart watch - OnePlus Watch 2 - at MWC 2024.
Here's What We Know
The novelty received a classic appearance with a steel case on 47 mm and dual architecture. The watch runs on two operating systems at once: Wear OS by Google and RTOS. Snapdragon W5 processor is responsible for the first one, and BES2700 chip is responsible for the second one. If you use Wear OS all the time, the watch can work on a single charge up to 100 hours. When RTOS is activated, the battery life will increase to 12 days. By the way, a 500 mAh battery is responsible for the autonomy of the novelty.
In Smart Mode the watch supports Google Maps, Google Assistant, Wallet, Google Calendar, Google Keep, Gmail and Google Play app shop. In addition, the watch can track sleep, different activities, and monitor health indicators. When RTOS is activated, the watch's features are limited.
OnePlus Watch 2 comes with 2GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage and a 1.43" round AMOLED display. The panel has a refresh rate of 60Hz and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. The novelty has water (5ATM) and shock (MIL-STD-810H) protection, as well as dual-frequency GPS, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer and a light sensor to adjust the brightness of the screen.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The OnePlus Watch 2 is already available for pre-order in various regions for $300/€330/£300/₹25,000. Sales of the device will start on March 4.
