Samsung announced the Odyssey Neo G8, Smart Monitor M8 and S8
Ahead of CES 2022, Samsung has unveiled three new monitors: the Odyssey Neo G8, Smart Monitor M8 and S8.
What is known
The Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 is the first 4K UHD curved display monitor to boast a high refresh rate of 240Hz. The response time is 1 ms. The diagonal is 32 ”. The novelty is aimed at gamers. The radius of curvature is 1000R.
The monitor received Quantum Mini LEDs. Peak brightness is 2,000 nits and contrast ratio is 1,000,000: 1. The model is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4. The back of the device has a backlight that projects the primary colors that are displayed on the screen.
The second novelty is Samsung Smart Monitor M8. This 32 ”monitor can be used as a smart TV with access to streaming applications.

The model is enclosed in a case with a thickness of 11.4 mm. One of the Smart Monitor M8 features is a SlimFit portable webcam, which is magnetically attached to the body. The monitor has received support for video chat applications, including Google Duo.
The third novelty is Samsung S8. This is a 27 ”UHD professional monitor. It features a sensor that covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and is HDR 600 compliant.
When to expect?
The cost of monitors has not yet been specified. Sales are expected by the end of the first half of 2022. Find out more at CES 2022.
