Apple started repairing iPad Mini 6 tablets, rather than replacing the old ones with new ones if you need to replace the battery
Apple is introducing a new policy for repairing 6th generation iPad mini tablets.
Details
Previously, if a user wanted to replace the battery of his gadget under the terms of the warranty, his tablet was not repaired, but simply given a new device instead of the old one. But now in the repair centers they will only change the battery, as a result returning to the client his old tablet with a new battery.
Users themselves are unlikely to like this, because previously instead of repairing they received a new gadget without scratches, scuffs, and other damages that might have been on the old tablet. And service centers will get more work, because it's necessary to carefully disassemble the gadget without damaging the glass and display.
The new policy applies only to the iPad mini 6th generation, although in the near future it can be followed by other iPad models.
