ASUS likes to experiment with form factors and design of its devices. And at CES 2024, the company presented another interesting experiment, the ASUS Zenbook Duo (2024) laptop. The main feature is the use of two identical 14-inch ASUS Lumina OLED displays with a 3K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. They are connected by a hinge with a maximum opening angle of up to 180°, which allows them to be turned into one large 19.8-inch monitor. Thanks to the built-in stand and removable keyboard, it can be used in both vertical and horizontal orientations. In general, the device can be used in several scenarios: laptop, dual-screen, desktop and collaboration. ASUS ScreenXpert software is provided to organise dual-screen work.
The keyboard unit has a built-in battery and Bluetooth. You can detach it or place it on the bottom display, turning it into a working panel of a regular laptop. ASUS Zenbook Duo (2024) is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor with an integrated machine learning chip (NPU), 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and a fast SSD drive up to 2 TB. A 75 Wh battery with fast charging support is responsible for the autonomy. The audio system supports Dolby Atmos, there are two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, one USB-A 3.2, a full-size HDMI 2.1, and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack. The laptop weighs 1.35kg without a keyboard, and 1.65kg with a keyboard.
How Much Does It Cost?
The price will start at $1500.
