After the launch of bankruptcy proceedings, hackers broke into the FTX exchange and stole several hundred million dollars in cryptocurrency.

Here's What We Know

The attackers moved tokens on Ethereum, Solana and Binance Smart Chain from official FTX accounts to addresses of decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges. The hackers are believed to have hacked both FTX.com and FTX US. The total amount of funds stolen was $600 million.

The problems for the exchange didn't end there. The FTX administration claimed that hackers infected exchange's application with malware. In addition, customers were advised to refrain from visiting the FTX website because of the high risk of infection by trojans.
